Fiori di Zucca


What is NOT to love about these seasonal treats? Their crispiness speaks to the summer palette, while the tenderness of their flavor makes us wish we could eat them year-round. 

What You'll Need:

Fiori di Zucca (pumpkin flowers)

Oil (for frying)

1/2 C Farina (all-purpose if you don't have Farina)

1/2 Tbsp Salt

Preparation: Combine the flour with the salt. While your oil is heating up, gently wash the flowers and immediately cover them in the flour-salt mixture. When you're ready to fry, carefully dip the flowers into the frier and remove after about 5 seconds. Place on a paper bag with a paper towel to absorb them excess oil. Plate and enjoy!
