Pan-Seared Monkfish

Rana Pescatrice sopra pomodori, ceci, cipolla, radicchio e capperi 🐟 Monkfish over tomatoes, chickpeas, onion, radicchio and capers

Don’t be intimidated by cooking fish at home! This dish took about 20 minutes to whip up including chopping time.

What You’ll Need:

  • monkfish (6-8 oz per person)

  • bunch of cherry tomatoes

  • 1 tbsp capers, rinsed

  • 1/2 red onion

  • salt to taste

Preparation:
Sauté all of the ingredients underneath together in a pan with fresh herbs and salt (I precooked the chickpeas because I'm not down with canned). • reserve the liquid from the tomatoes in the pan, add a drop of white wine and let reduce for 1 min
• lay the fish in the pan, spooning juices over top flip cook 1 minute each side
